Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
At WebComforts (SMC-Private) Limited, we value our customers' satisfaction. Because we provide intangible, digital services, we have established the following guidelines regarding refunds and cancellations.
Merchant Note: All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@webcomforts.com.
1. Web Hosting Services
- 30-Day Money Back Guarantee: New web hosting accounts are eligible for a full refund if cancelled within 30 days of the purchase date.
- Exclusions: This guarantee does not apply to renewals, or accounts that have violated our Terms of Service.
2. Domain Names & SSL Certificates
- Non-Refundable: Domain name registrations, transfers, and SSL certificates are strictly non-refundable. Once a domain is registered or an SSL is issued, the cost is paid immediately to the global registrar and cannot be reversed.
- Ownership: You will remain the owner of the domain for the remainder of its registration period even if you cancel your hosting with us.
3. Website Development & Maintenance
- Project Deposits: Deposits paid to start a web development project are refundable only if work has not yet commenced.
- Completed Milestones: Once a design or development milestone is reached and approved by the client, the payment for that milestone is non-refundable.
- Maintenance Plans: Monthly website maintenance services can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Payments for months already serviced are non-refundable.
4. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
SEO is a service-based monthly commitment involving manual labour. While you can cancel your subscription at any time, we do not offer refunds for months where the work has already been performed and reports have been generated.
5. Refund Processing Time
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days.
- As per Pakistani banking regulations, refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account) used at the time of purchase.
6. Cancellation Process
To cancel any active service, please email support@webcomforts.com with your Invoice Number and the reason for cancellation. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancellation requests must be sent at least 7 days before your renewal date.
